1.Eligibility
1.1 Entry is open to all individual attendees of the APTLD84 event aged 18 years or over, who are located in a jurisdiction where it is lawful to enter this Promotion and who are attending (in person or virtually) the Asia Pacific Top Level Domain (“APTLD84”) Conference during September 18-20, 2023. Employees or directors of the Promoter (or any related entity of the Promoter) and their Immediate Family are not eligible to enter this Promotion. Persons under the age of 18 may only enter with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. If such consent is not given, the entry will be deemed invalid and any prize forfeit.
2. Entry
2.1 This is a contest, and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
2.2 Entries for the Promotion open at 9:00am (UTC+9) on 18 September 2023 and close at 03:00pm (UTC+9) on 20 September 2023 (the “Promotional Period”). All entries must be received by the Promoter by 03:00pm UTC+9) on 20 September 2023. To enter, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, complete the online “DNS Defender Game” by GoDaddy Registry (www.dnsdefender.game) in the fastest time as recognised by the in-game leader board. All entries must be publicly visible.
2.3 All valid entries will be individually judged, by a panel selected by the Promoter, on the score on the in-game leader board as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion. The judges’ decision is final and binding. Judging for the prize will take place at or around 03.00pm (UTC+9) on 20 September 2023.
2.4 Entrants may enter in their own name or on behalf of an organisation. Where an individual enters on behalf of an organisation, the individual warrants and represents that they have the right, power and authority to enter into the Promotion and grant the rights contained in these terms and conditions.
2.5 Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are void. Entries will be deemed void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the Entrant’s identity particulars.
2.6 All entries and entry details become the property of the Promoter.
3. Prize
3.1 One (1) prize will be awarded to three (3) winners. The total prize pool is valued at up to USD $600. First prize is an USD $300 Amazon Gift Card, second prize is an USD $200 Amazon Gift Card, and third prize is an USD $100 Amazon Gift Card. If this prize is prohibited by laws or availability in winner’s locality, Promoter will award winner a prize substantially equivalent to said prize.
3.2 The winners will have 28 days to claim their prize by sending a reply email to the Promoter with their contact details, including full name. Failure to do so within the time limit, will render the prize unclaimed.
3.3 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize.
3.4 The prize comprises the elements set out in clause 3.1. Any and all ancillary costs associated with the prize are solely the responsibility of the winner. All prizes are subject to availability. If a prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize to the equal value and/or comparable specification.
3.5 All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the Promoter’s suppliers. Delivery of the prize(s) shall be arranged with the winner, the Promoter and its supplier(s) following the announcement..
3.6 The Promoter takes no responsibility for any prize(s) damaged or lost in transit. Once the prize(s) has left the premises of the Promoter (or the Promoter’s associated agencies), the Promoter will not be responsible for any delay, failure to deliver or damage caused to the prize(s) during transit.
3.7 If a prize is unclaimed, the Promoter will select a new winner for the unclaimed prize 28 days after the initial winners are announced using the same method specified in this section 2.4. The new winner(s) will be notified using the same method as specific in section 3.2.
4. Marketing and promotional use of personal information
4.1 By entering this Promotion, the Entrant consents to: (a) if the Entrant is a winner, the Promoter’s use of his or her personal details (including name, likeness, image and/or voice) for any future marketing and promotional purposes in any media platform without any further compensation, unless the Entrant advises the Promoter otherwise; and (b) the Promoter disclosing the Entrant’s personal information to third parties, including related entities and subcontractors, for the purposes of the facilitation of the Promotion, awarding the prize(s) and marketing and publicity purposes.
4.2 Where the Entrant has provided consent, the Promoter may send future marketing materials to the Entrants, including electronic messages, which can be unsubscribed from at any time.

5. Promoter’s rights
5.1 The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to: (a) disqualify any individual or organisation who it has reason to believe has breached any of these terms, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion; (b) recover damages or other compensation from any individual or organisation in breach of these terms; and (c) modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion as appropriate where the Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
5.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter: (a) excludes all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any individual or organisation in connection with the Promotion or prize(s); and (b) expressly excludes all conditions, warranties and guarantees, whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise, in respect of the prize(s).
5.3 You agree not to seek any compensation or take any action as a result of pursuing, obtaining, or using any prize(s).
6. Governing law
6.1 You agree that these terms and conditions shall be governed, construed and interpreted by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA. You further agree that any dispute related to these terms and conditions will be brought in a state or federal court in Arizona, USA.
7. Definitions
7.1 Entrant means any person who has entered the Promotion in accordance with these terms and conditions; and
7.2 Immediate Family means any of the following: parent, step-parent, sibling, spouse (including de-facto or ex-spouse), child or step-child (whether by birth or by adoption), foster child, in-laws, sibling in-law, grandparent, step-grandparent, great-grandparent, grandchild, aunt, uncle, niece and nephew or first cousin.
